Umi Matsu, the second branch of Japanese Restaurant, is right at the heart of Aseana City in Parqal Mall. The new place to dine matched the spacious Nordic inspired mall where it gives more rooms to guests of Umi Matsu.
If there is one wish by the owner, “It is to help us become popular,” said Jacob Yun, CEO and Owner of Umi Matsu.
Other executives who joined Yun during the opening and ribbon cutting were Delfin Angelo Wenceslao, CEO of DM Wenceslao and Associates; Eric Balmes, Deputy Insurance Commissioner and former DOJ Undersecretary; Michael Sy, Operations Manager of Parqal Mall; and Chef Shin Hyungsuk.
Delectable Japanese cuisine were offered during the grand opening, guests were given treat of sumptous meals with rich varieties of flavors without sacrificing nutritional value of food and presentation of meals perfected by expert chefs. Umi Matsu is proud to have the expertise of Chef Shin Hyungsuk.
The feast prepared by Chef Shin and his team of experts consisted of Chawan Mushi, a steam egg; Inari Sushi, big Maki Roll, Shashimi, Beef Rice Bowl, Okonomiyaki, Japanese pancake; Miso Soup, and Nagasaki Jiamppong.
Ana Loise Jimenez, the energetic host, hopped from one table to another to get the reactions of the influencers and members of media about the Japanese cuisine that were served.
If there were stand outs, they were the huge serving of Maki Roll and flavorful Nagasaki Jiamppong, a real treat for value for money, balanced and nutritious meals. Great meal starts here, there is no need to go to Japan, “It is right here at Umi Matsu,” said Jimenez.
